Meet the Principals

Mrs. Seals is a graduate of North Canton Hoover High School, Class of 2000. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications and Public Relations from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA, where she was also a member of the women’s basketball team. She completed her collegiate playing career and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Elementary Education at The University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

Mrs. Seals is entering her 18th year in education. Before entering administration, she taught kindergarten and second grade in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and later returned home to teach 5th-grade math at Plain Local. While at Plain Local, she also served as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. In 2014, Mrs. Seals obtained her administrative license from Ashland University. This is her 9th year as a Principal in Green Local Schools. Prior to her role at Green Elementary School, she served as the Principal of Green Primary School for 7 years and as the Assistant Principal at Green Middle School for 4 years.

She currently resides in the Green community with her husband, daughter, and son.

Mrs. Murray is a dedicated educator embarking on her 11th year as an Assistant Principal in Green Local Schools, a milestone marking 22 years of service in education. Her leadership journey includes previous experience as an Assistant Principal at Green Primary School. Prior to entering administration, she spent 11 years as an educator at Jackson Memorial Middle School and Coventry Junior High.  During her time at Jackson Local Schools, she was an Instructional Coach and cheer coach.  These experiences have helped shape her approach to education and learning, while working alongside some truly amazing educators.

Kelli holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Akron (2004) and a master's degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University (2012).

Outside of school, Kelli values time with her children, Kyra and Reed, and her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, reading, writing, travel, and outdoor activities. An animal lover and music enthusiast, Kelli looks forward to another productive year of supporting her students.

Mr. Snavely has been a part of Green Local Schools for over 22 years. 

He joined the Green Local Schools administrative team in 2018.  Mr. Snavely is a graduate of Malone University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3) and Reading Endorsement (K-12). He continued his education and earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, securing an Administrative Specialist license in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, and obtaining his Principal licensure. He is passionate about serving others and creating a positive school environment.  

Before joining the Green Elementary team, he served as an Assistant Principal at Green Intermediate School for 7 years and proudly served as an educator for 14 years within Green Local Schools. In addition to teaching in the classroom, he has also served in other various capacities within the district, including Teacher Coach Cadre, Intervention Consultant, Curriculum Team Leader, and Mentor Teacher. In the past, he was honored as the District PTA "Teacher of the Year" and nominated for the Summit All-County Teaching Team.

In addition to serving in the Green community, Mr. Snavely has collaborated at the collegiate level as a Literacy Specialist/Consultant.

He has been a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Ohio School Public Relations Association.

Mr. Snavely and his wife have two sons.
